In contrast to many other finishing processes, in which only a small percentage of the material (e.g. foil) remains on the printed product and the rest has to be disposed of as hazardous waste, the bronzing process produces virtually no waste.

An internal suction system belonging to the bronzing machine cleans off all bronze particles, that do not remain on the sheet, collects them in a special filter system , from where it goes back into the process. This means that even during daily printing production, an internal "recycling" already takes place.

If, after repeated use of the bronze powder, the loss of shine means that it can only be used on large bronzing areas to a limited extent, these small amounts are not actually "waste" but valuable material that is made available to other industries via recycling companies.

This makes bronzing not only the most brilliant and, because embossing cylinders or screen printing forms are not needed, the most cost-effective finishing process, but the metallic shine also makes it the most exclusive and sustainable (environmentally friendly) way to set high-quality products apart from the competition!
